Carla Oberholzer comes from a sporting background, participating in various sports at provincial and national level. I have a special interest in sports and orthopaedic treatments. Being an active road and mountain bike cyclist I am in direct feel with the needs, wants and squirms of athletes and am capable of providing you with the latest research based treatment and rehabilitation protocols.
I matriculated in Bloemfontein at Eunice Girls High School after which I studied B.Sc. Physiotherapy at the University Of The Free State. Post graduate I worked at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Louis Olivier Physiotherapy where I was responsible for the Pretoria Boys High First Rugby Team. I then went on to work in a large hospital practice alongside top orthopaedic, spinal and neurosurgeons where I gained invaluable experience. In 2015 I started Carla Oberholzer Physiotherapy and so realised my dream of having my own practice. I look forward to serving my community and enabling my patients to regain their independence and experience improved functionality.
Carla is a registered Physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP).
